The Wormery In-Ground Urbalive from Plastia is designed to be buried in a planter, vegetable bed/garden, or a raised flower bed. It is the gardener's ideal ally for turning your plantings into a wormery and feeding your plants with your organic waste. Made from recycled plastic.
With its large 12 litre size, it can process a high amount of waste with compost worms.
Easy to use, simply insert the tube in your container/pot or planter until it is fully buried up to the widest part to keep insects out, then fill the tube with your kitchen scraps.
It is recommended to finely chop the scraps to speed up digestion by the compost worms.
Once the compost worms are placed in your planter, they will feed daily on the waste inside the wormery and colonise their new environment.
Included: the complete vermicomposting guide and a detailed 20-page usage manual (size 21 cm x 21 cm, in English), to walk you step by step through care and use of your wormery.

Delivered complete with:
- 1 Terracotta lid with elastic,
- 1 Terracotta upper part,
- 1 lower part,
- 1 vermicomposting guide + assembly instructions in English.
This incredible ecosystem allows your plants to benefit from simple, natural care: less watering needed and no extra fertiliser! You generate your own vermicompost which you can harvest and use for other plants.
