Bokashi composters with EM1 micro-organisms

The Bokashi composter is an innovative composting solution, ideal for transforming your food waste right at home. Unlike traditional composting, Bokashi relies on an anaerobic fermentation process due to the action of effective microorganisms (EM), allowing a wide range of organic waste to be processed quickly and without odour.

Compact, clean, and easy to use, the Bokashi bucket fits perfectly into a kitchen or indoor space. It allows you to compost fruit and vegetable scraps as well as cooked foods, dairy products, meat, or fish, which are often excluded from traditional composters or worm composters.

It is possible to collect Bokashi juice, a powerful natural fertiliser that should be diluted to feed plants or soil. The process is simple: add your waste, sprinkle on some Bokashi activator, compact it, and close the lid.

Once the bucket is full, the fermented material can be dug into the soil, added to a garden composter, or placed in a vermicomposter to finish its transformation into humus. The Bokashi bucket is an ecological, practical, and effective solution for reducing waste and naturally enriching the soil.
