Pioneers in vermicomposting and living soil

Since its creation in 2007, Moutta Farm has specialised in breeding earthworms, our famous ‘little Willys’, who have become the farm’s true mascots.

In 2009, we invented and manufactured the WORMbox wormery, designed to make organic waste recycling simple, clean and accessible to all. Very soon, we developed a complete line of wormeries and in just a few years became a European reference in vermicomposting.

This expertise naturally led us to expand our domestic composting world: Bokashi buckets using EM (Effective Microorganisms) technology, handy and efficient rotary composters, along with several exclusive models made for easy food waste recycling at home or in apartments.

As interest has grown in beneficial microorganisms, we have continued our adventure with EM products for plants, the soil, well-being and animals.

Today, drawing on our living soil expertise and a healthier environment, we also offer solutions for clean, responsible gardening: fertilisers, amendments, natural treatments and other green innovations, all designed and made in Ireland.
