The WORMacotta, designed by Moutta Farm, is a wormery to bury in your planter, flowerpot or vegetable garden, perfect for nourishing your plants using your organic waste.
Made from 100% natural materials – with this worm compost bin, no plastic will ever touch your plants, flowers and/or vegetables, as it is entirely made from natural clay.
Easy to use: simply push the tube down so the last holes are no longer visible in your container/flowerpot or planter, and fill it with your kitchen peelings to keep insects from getting in.
Chop up your peelings finely to speed up the work of the compost worms. Pour the worms into your planter – they will feed daily on the waste in the worm compost bin and settle into their new environment.
It is recommended to chop the peelings finely to accelerate digestion by the worms.
Once you’ve placed the compost worms in your planter, they’ll eat the waste in the wormery daily and inhabit their new environment.
We suggest placing the WORMacotta in a planter with a capacity between 15 and 30 litres for the 1.1L pot, and more than 100 litres for the 6.5L version.
Included: The complete vermicomposting guide plus a detailed 20-page user manual (size 21cm x 21cm, in English), to help you step by step as you maintain and use your worm compost bin.

Delivered complete with:
- 1 lid,

Bring life back to your vegetable plot or garden easily – an ecosystem will naturally form to nourish your plants and vegetables with worm castings.
The lid keeps the contents protected from rain (outdoors) and prevents gnats and other pests from getting into your waste.
Practical and simple, it will improve the quality of your soil day by day. This product is made in the pottery kingdom of Portugal.
❄️ Beware of frost!
The lids can be damaged by freeze/thaw cycles; we recommend protecting them in winter with a hemp mat for example.
