Canadian worms for fishing
The Lumbricus Terrestris, or Canadian worm, is the largest worm we offer, measuring between 15 and 20 cm with an average weight of 4 g. Its dark red colouring and flattened posterior end make it easy to recognise. Each order is carefully prepared: the worms are sorted and packaged on the day of dispatch to ensure freshness, vitality and excellent health upon arrival. The worms are weighed, not counted.
These worms are suitable for fishing many species of freshwater fish, such as barbel, bream, carp, chub, roach, perch, rudd, tench, trout, eel or catfish. They can be used whole or cut into pieces for added attraction.

Moutta Farm adds a specific substrate equal to twice the weight of the worms, recreating an ideal biotope that supports their wellbeing and longevity. This packaging ensures robust, active worms ready for use, mainly for fishing or as a food supplement for certain animals.
These worms are not suitable for worm composters. For storage, place them at the bottom of the fridge at 3 to 7 °C and add cardboard or paper cut into small pieces to recreate the optimal substrate. Packaged in a box or micro-perforated bag, they stay lively and active for several weeks, ready for fishing or to feed your animals.
