Natural fibre substrate, carbon-based material and start-up

This blend of natural fibres has been specially developed by Ferme du Moutta to provide a healthy and chemical-free substrate for your compost worms. Unlike certain soils sold in shops, it contains no substances that could keep away the worms, ensuring an optimal environment for their development.

Perfect for starting your Wormery, this substrate allows the worms to settle in a balanced and ready-to-work environment. It efficiently replaces shredded card or paper and makes it easy to get a light, well-aerated and top-quality vermicompost, while keeping excess moisture to a minimum in the composter.

By adding this substrate with each batch of food waste, you create the perfect balance between carbon and nitrogen materials, helping the transformation turn quickly and effectively into usable compost. It also helps maintain a stable pH and a healthy setting, reducing unwanted insects and keeping your worms safe.
