Bokashi Mulch is an innovative organic soil amendment, produced by fermenting straw flour and apple pulp with Effective Micro-organisms (EM®). This natural fermentation enriches the mulch with vitamins, amino acids, natural antibiotics and other organic acids, which promote plant growth and stimulate soil life. When applied to your land, it feeds the micro-organisms and increases biodiversity while improving the structure and fertility of the soil.

Benefit
Bokashi Mulch activates soil and root life, stimulating natural microbial processes. It limits leaching of key nutrients such as carbon and nitrogen, ensuring a fertile and balanced soil.
By enriching the soil with organic nutrients, it supports the health and vitality of crops—whether vegetables, flowers, trees or shrubs. It's a sustainable, eco-friendly solution in line with European directives 834/2007 and 889/2008 for organic farming.
Its robust structure makes it ideal for existing plantations and open soil, while stimulating microbial activity and local biodiversity.
Thanks to its fermented organic composition, Bokashi Mulch transforms organic matter more efficiently, boosts biodiversity and supports healthy, vigorous plant growth.
It's an essential ally for gardeners concerned with soil health and the sustainability of their crops, offering a living mulch that nourishes and energises your soil day after day.
Usage
The mulch can be applied directly to the soil surface, or mixed into the substrate during planting.
For new plantings, mix approximately 4% by volume per litre of soil into planting holes.
For routine garden maintenance, spread 0.5 to 1 kg per m², i.e., one 25 kg bag for 25 to 50 m².
While very effective for enriching and protecting soil, its coarser structure makes it less suitable for seeds and young plants, which require a finer, lighter substrate.
