Ondalys, mini ceramic flower

Q: Is each Ondalys ceramic mini flower unique?

Yes: like the large flowers, the Ondalys mini flower is hand-sculpted and hand-painted in Portugal from clay. Shapes, sizes and shades therefore vary slightly from one mini flower to the next. You will receive a one-of-a-kind piece, true to the photo, perfect for a small, original bouquet or as a gift.

Q: What is the difference between the Ondalys mini flower and the large one?

The Ondalys mini flower measures 5 cm in diameter, compared with 9.5 cm for the large Ondalys, on the same flexible, adjustable 30 cm stem. This small size is ideal for completing a bouquet or filling a small vase. You can also combine both sizes of Ondalys in the same bouquet. You'll find the large Ondalys flower in our shop.

Q: Does the Ondalys mini flower come with a vase?

No, the Ondalys mini flower is sold individually, vase not included. Pair it with the large Ondalys or with other flowers from the range, mini or large: Anthurium, Lisianthus, Marguerite, Pétrosia, Uniflora. A nice extra touch if you're giving it as a gift: the Ondalys symbolises fluidity, serenity and emotion in motion.

Q: How do I care for the Ondalys ceramic mini flower?

The Ondalys mini flower needs no watering and never wilts. A light dusting with a feather duster is all it takes, and its vase stays free of water. Keep it away from the cold: it must not be exposed to frost, and damp can cause the metal stem to rust. It is designed to decorate your home indoors.

More about Ondalys

Meaning: The Ondalys flower symbolises fluidity, serenity and emotion in motion. Inspired by natural waves, it evokes balance, softness and continuity. Ondalys is associated with calm, sensitivity and the harmony between strength and delicacy.

Etymology: The name Ondalys is a poetic creation from the word ‘wave’, derived from Latin ‘unda’ (wave, movement of water), with a soft, lyrical ending suggesting lightness and elegance. It refers to the idea of fluid, organic shapes in constant evolution.

Each flower is set on a stem covered with green wire, flexible and adjustable, allowing you to bend or cut it easily for your own arrangement.

Handcrafted, each flower is unique. Shapes, dimensions and colour shades may slightly vary from one flower to another, a true sign of their authentic and handmade character.

Dimensions: Flower diameter: 5 cm x stem height: 30 cm. Do not expose to frost. Price per unit, vase not included.
