How does it work?
EM® (Efficient Micro-organisms) is a blend of beneficial microorganisms: lactic acid bacteria, yeasts and other naturally occurring organisms.
In our environment, we find:
- 5% beneficial bacteria;
- 5% harmful bacteria;
- 90% opportunistic bacteria.
The latter follow the prevailing trend. By introducing EM®, beneficial microorganisms are favoured, which take over and limit the development of smell-causing bacteria.
